Meet Noor
Let's get to know each other
Hi, I'm Noor! I'm a Pakistani Muslim living in one of the greatest cities in the world.
I've been doing cityscape and architectural photography on and off for about 8 years now. It started as a hobby to help maintain my anxiety, but it slowly became a means to showcase NYC and its beauty to the world on Instagram.
My aim has always been for others to see New York City as home. Now that I'm doing more portrait photography, my focus has changed to making sure that my clients are at center stage, while NYC serves as the wonderful background for their momentous occasions.

The Story of a Photographer
How did it all begin?
I have thousands and thousands of baby pictures stored in my closet and that's all thanks to my father and his Minolta film camera. I never realized it at first, but my love for photography was definitely passed down to me by him. I remember in the 4th grade when I asked him if I could borrow his camera. He downright refused because he didn't trust me with it so as a compromise, he bought me my very own: a red and yellow Kodak disposable. I used up all the shots, got them processed, and the pictures came out less than average. That was my very first exposure to photography (pun intended!), but I never picked it up seriously until 6 years later when I finally decided to start an Instagram. My drive to make my feed unique from everyone else's led to various treks roaming around the streets of NYC with my Sony Cybershot, taking photos of shadows and lines and posting them in black and white.
